About this project
William Hill is one of the largest and most recognizable bookmaker brands in the United Kingdom. The company has over 17,000 employees, is listed on the London Stock Exchange and has a market capitalization of over £4.07 billion.
William Hill contracted Gnu World to expand their online presence and associate the brand with a range of high profile sporting events using a combination of web design, search engine marketing and content marketing.
What we did
Over a period of two years Gnu World built, and wrote content for, over fifty sports websites. During this process we generated over one thousand pages of original content, and performed a variety of SEO activities designed to achieve top rankings for all sites in as short a time frame as possible.
What we achieved
Gnu World succeeded in achieving first page rankings for websites competing for some of the most competitive sports event keywords. The project resulted in dramatic increases in non-brand web traffic to the William Hill website, and was a turning point in establishing this bookmaker as a major player in the online sports betting industry.
