Thomas Cook Tours has been the leading name in guided tours since it was founded in 1841. Today the company conducts guided tours of locations across the globe, and the Thomas Cook brand has become synonymous with exceptional service and value for money.
Thomas Cook Tours contacted Gnu World for assistance in increasing traffic from non-branded keywords, where the site was losing considerable ground to competitors.
What we did
Gnu World performed an in-depth audit of the Thomas Cook Tours website, identifying a number of technical, design and content issues for improvement. We then implemented enhancements in all these areas, improving the website’s design, conversion optimization, technical performance and content.
What we achieved
Gnu World increased organic search engine traffic to the Thomas Cook Tours site by 403% over a period of just six months. The enhancements to content creation and design we introduced to critical areas of the site were subsequently introduced site-wide.
Thomas Cook Tours subsequently referred Gnu World to the major online booking portal Netflights.com in order to provide them with an audit and advice on improving the performance of their website.
